Audio Brothers

Audio Brothers is a family-owned music studio based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, specialized in professional radio imaging, sonic branding, music beds, drones, backsells, news imaging, and show branding for broadcasters, online radio stations, DJs, podcasters, and audio creators.

We create the music and audio elements that help a radio station sound recognizable, polished, consistent, and professional on air. From custom-made sonic branding for major national broadcasters to ready-to-use radio imaging packages for smaller stations, our work is built around one clear belief: professional radio imaging should be accessible to more than just the biggest broadcasters.

Audio Brothers was founded by two brothers, Tom an Flip van Schil, and is run from Amsterdam with a hands-on, composer-led approach. Every package and custom production is created, produced, tested, and refined by real music producers — not generated by AI, not assembled from generic filler, and not treated as anonymous library music.

Our goal is simple: to help stations sound better, faster, and with confidence.

Who We Are

Audio Brothers is a specialist studio for radio imaging and broadcast music production. We work in the space between composition, branding, radio production, and daily on-air usability.

Radio imaging is more than background music. It is the sound of a station’s identity. It supports presenters, structures programms, creates momentum between songs, gives news and information programms authority, and helps listeners instantly recognize the station they are hearing.

That is the world Audio Brothers works in every day.

Our studio focuses primarily on instrumental radio imaging. That means music beds, drones, transitions, backsells, show openers, news beds, weather beds, traffic beds, sports beds, and other broadcast-ready elements that can be used with station voice-overs, presenter links, promos, podcast intros, and live radio workflows.

We believe strong radio imaging should do three things at once:

It should sound distinctive.

It should support the presenter or format.

And it should be practical enough to use under real studio pressure.

That combination: musical quality, brand awareness, and real-world usability, defines the Audio Brothers approach.

What We Do

Audio Brothers operates in two complementary ways: custom production and ready-to-use radio imaging packages.

For larger broadcasters, we work as a custom high-end production partner. These projects are built around a specific station, format, audience, brand identity, and on-air workflow. We compose and produce tailored instrumental imaging that can become part of a station’s recognizable sound.

For local, regional, community, online, and independent stations, we offer ready-to-use radio imaging packages through the Audio Brothers webshop. These packages are designed to give smaller broadcasters access to professional broadcast-quality imaging without the complexity and costs of a full custom production process.

This business model allows us to serve both ends of the radio market.

Major broadcasters can commission fully tailored sonic branding.

Smaller stations can instantly access professional music beds, drones, backsells, news imaging, and show branding packages that are ready to use.

The result is a more accessible model for radio imaging: high-quality audio branding, available in both custom and ready-made forms.

Our Experience With Major Broadcasters

Audio Brothers has created radio imaging, music beds, and broadcast music for a wide range of well-known European broadcasters and radio brands.

Our work and references include projects for stations and brands such as VRT Radio 1, VRT NWS, Sporza, Radio 538, Radio 10, SLAM!, JOE, Sky Radio, NRK P3, and NRK mP3.

These projects have covered different formats and use cases: news and current affairs, public radio, hit radio, sports coverage, entertainment programming, station branding, show imaging, and daily presenter support.

Working for major broadcasters has shaped the way we produce every piece of audio, including the packages in our webshop. We know that radio imaging has to sound good in isolation, but also has to work in context: under voices, between songs, around news bulletins, inside fast live shows, and across different platforms.

That practical broadcast experience is one of the reasons Audio Brothers exists.

We have seen how much care goes into imaging for national stations. We have also seen how difficult it can be for smaller stations to access that same level of quality. Our webshop was created to close that gap.

Our Business Model

Audio Brothers combines custom radio imaging with ready-to-use broadcast music packages.

Custom imaging is created specifically for one broadcaster or station. This type of work is tailored to the station’s brand, tone of voice, format, audience, and daily workflow. It is the right choice for broadcasters that need a unique sonic identity or a bespoke package for a station, show, news service, or campaign.

Ready-to-use packages are available directly through the Audio Brothers webshop. These packages are not custom-made for one specific station, but they are produced with the same professional standards we apply to custom work. They are designed to be practical, flexible, and immediately usable.

The webshop model gives customers a simple way to access professional radio imaging without a long production process. Stations can browse, listen, purchase, download, and start using the audio in their own workflow.

Every package is built to be usable in real radio environments. That means multiple versions, practical edits, mix-outs, and free stems, so producers and presenters can adapt the material to their own station sound.

Our model is deliberately straightforward: no complicated subscriptions, no hidden usage structure, and no unnecessary barriers between the station and the audio it needs.

What Makes Audio Brothers Different

Audio Brothers is not a generic production music library.

We are a specialist radio imaging studio.

That distinction matters.

Production music is often designed to work broadly across many types of media. Radio imaging has a different job. It needs to support presenters, energize formats, mark sections of programming, build recognition, and stay usable inside fast-moving broadcast situations.

Our products are created specifically for radio and audio branding workflows.

That is why we think in beds, drones, backsells, show openers, news beds, weather beds, traffic beds, sport beds, and mix-outs. Not just in full-length tracks.

Each Audio Brothers package is composed and produced with structure, timing, and utility in mind. We consider how a presenter might talk over it, where the energy should build, how it should resolve, how it might work underneath a news intro, how it can transition into a song, and how producers might cut or adapt it.

The audio has to sound polished, but it also has to be useful.

That practical mindset is central to everything we create.

Built by Real Composers and Producers

Audio Brothers stands for human-made radio imaging.

Every package is created by real composers and producers with experience in broadcast music, radio branding, and station sound. We do not use AI-generated filler as a substitute for composition, taste, arrangement, or production judgment.

Radio imaging is too specific for that.

A good music bed needs the right pace, the right harmonic movement, the right amount of space for speech, and the right energy curve. A drone needs to create atmosphere without becoming distracting. A news bed needs authority, clarity, and motion. A backsell needs timing and musical confidence.

Those details require craft.

Our work is written, produced, edited, tested, and refined with that craft in mind.

Designed for Real Radio Workflows

One of the most important parts of the Audio Brothers approach is usability.

A track can sound impressive in a demo, but still fail in a live studio. It may be too busy under speech, too long to edit, too static for a presenter, too cluttered for news, or too difficult to adapt to different formats.

We design our packages to avoid those problems.

Audio Brothers products are made for real-world broadcast use. They are intended for programm makers, imaging producers, DJs, presenters, podcast producers, and creators who need professional audio that works quickly and reliably.

That is why our packages often include practical versions, stems, edits, and mix-outs. These give users more flexibility when placing the audio under voice-overs, presenter links, promos, station IDs, sweepers, news intros, traffic updates, weather reports, podcasts, or online content.

The goal is not just to provide audio that sounds professional.

The goal is to provide audio that helps the user sound professional.

Professional Imaging for More Stations

For many years, high-end radio imaging was mainly available to national broadcasters and larger commercial stations. Smaller stations often had to choose between expensive custom production, generic library music, or lower-quality audio that did not truly support their brand.

Audio Brothers was created to offer another option.

Our webshop gives smaller stations, online broadcasters, local radio teams, community stations, DJs, podcasters, and independent creators access to broadcast-ready imaging with a professional sound and a clear licensing model.

This makes it possible for more stations to build a consistent sound without commissioning a full custom package.

At the same time, our custom work remains available for broadcasters that need a fully bespoke sonic identity.

This dual model: custom production and ready-to-use packages, allows Audio Brothers to support the wider radio industry at different levels.

Our Approach to Licensing and Trust

Trust is essential in audio branding.

Stations need to know that the audio they use is safe, clear, and suitable for professional broadcast and online use. They also need to understand what they are buying, how they can use it, and whether it fits their workflow.

Audio Brothers focuses on clarity.

Our packages are created for professional use and come with practical licensing terms designed for radio, broadcast, online, and creator workflows. We want customers to feel confident when using our audio on air, online, in podcasts, and across modern media platforms.

We also believe in transparency. Product pages are written to explain what a package contains, how it can be used, and what kind of station or programm it is designed for.

That clarity is part of the value.

Good radio imaging should not create uncertainty. It should make a station sound stronger.

Why Audio Brothers Exists

Audio Brothers exists because radio still matters.

The platforms have changed. Stations now live on FM, DAB+, apps, websites, smart speakers, podcasts, social media, and video platforms. But the need for a strong audio identity has not disappeared. If anything, it has become more important.

A station’s sound has to travel across more contexts than ever before.

Listeners may hear a station in the car, on headphones, through a phone speaker, in a social media clip, or as part of an on-demand podcast. In every environment, professional imaging helps create recognition, confidence, and consistency.

That is where Audio Brothers helps.

We create the music and audio tools that make stations sound more focused, more professional, and more recognizable.

Whether it is a national broadcaster commissioning custom imaging, or a small internet radio station buying its first professional music bed, the principle is the same: the right audio can make the entire station feel stronger.
